Young Women: United and Strong

This song was written for our Stake girl’s camp.

The theme scripture for the camp was Doctrine and Covenants 66:8: ” And he that is faithful shall be made strong in every place; and I, the Lord, will go with you.” The theme for the camp was “United and Strong”–if we are each individually faithful, the Lord will be with us, and we can become more united.

**Is this song not quite what you’re looking for, but pretty close? (Do you need different voicing, a more or less difficult piano part, etc.?) I want you to be able to use it if you’d like to. I will gladly make changes and post the new PDF (while keeping the original as well). Please head over to my “Arrangement Change or Song Request” page and fill out the applicable questions, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.**

Lyrics (by Gerrit van Dyk)

In a world so full of questions
I know what is right.
I am a daughter of God, and He loves me
I’ll walk within His light.

I know prophets lead and guide us,
They are called of God.
I know the scriptures are true, they strengthen me
As I hold to the rod.

If we are faithful to all that we know
No matter how hard the road is, or long,
We’ll have the Lord by our side as we go
And we will be united and strong.

We have felt the Spirit whisper:
Jesus is the Christ.
He’s our Redeemer and friend, we praise him for
His loving sacrifice.
